Alcoholics don’t get better without help from alcohol rehab centers. They just don’t. Whoever you are, however tough you believe yourself to be….you can’t beat alcoholic abuse without an alcohol rehab program.
Families who have mentally ill relatives whose problems are compounded by substance abuse face problems of enormous proportions. Mental health services are not well prepared to deal with patients having both afflictions.
There are different views and thoughts of people about drug addiction. It is a proven fact that drug addiction can attack on anyone at anytime. It does not matter if you are young or old, married or unmarried, rich or poor; it can attack on anyone. Drug addicts are considered hapless and neglected members of the society. There are different schools of thoughts about drug addiction cure. Some people believe that the drug addiction can only be cured with the will power of the addict. Truly speaking, drug addiction cannot be cured by just changing the behaviour. It needs lot more attention, and care. According to medical point of view, drug addiction is a chronic illness, and to know its cure, it should be carefully understood.
